The Port Manager regulates all Port activities in the harbor by creating Policies and Procedures from the the Regulations, Act and International Conventions. There are over 30 Policies formulated to regulate all Harbour activities.  

All regulated activities requires either a permit or license from the Port Manager depending on the activity term. Permits are short term in which assessment and issuance are within 24 to 48 hours of the activity date. Applicants are encouraged to always submit their applications on time to the Port Manager for approval to ensure they have the permit before the activity is undertaken. License application assessments is dependent on the type of license you are applying for.

All port users and stakeholders are advised to always apply for a permit or license prior to conducting any of the activities listed below or utilize the services of a licensed service provider as per the listing provided to avoid penalties.
